I am a recovering alcoholic. I am also a female artist.
The stigma and prejudice surrounding addictive illness is long standing. The consequences for the sufferer compounds the illness and recovery. Alcoholism can be a fatal illness. It is certainly miserable.
Using art and my own experience I want to explore some of the experiences and thoughts I have had on my own journey into recovery.
I hope that these revelations could give some hope to other women who experience similar problems
